Aw, c'mon, take my picture! This is a cat I captured in my digital camera a few years ago. It was sitting in a window downtown and meowed loudly at me until I walked up to the window and took a photo of it. I swear it was posing for me. Probably a lovely way to spend the day—watching all the well-dressed townspeople walking by its storefront home—until it saw me in my paint splattered camouflage cargo shorts and T-shirt, that is. Everything I own is covered in paint, and this pretty kitty probably just wanted a closer look at the slob and his camera.
Casey, your a riot !
ReplyDeleteBut this is the plan, buy yourself a half dozen white shorts. Do what you do until they look like finished pieces of "Casey" art. Then sell them !
I'm going to make you some money if it kills me !
I like that idea X, I'd think about a body transplant just so I could wear a pair.
ReplyDeleteLove this picture - I am a cat person and love their no nonsense attitudes. The enlarged version is great with the screen detail, love it!
I think I missed checking in yesterday, I have been busy project. I should have something to reveal to you all soon.
Shout outs to all the regulars, Granny, Mare, Katie et al. I shot a couple more Through the Knot Hole pics that I will try and get up today or tomorrow, it's become a bit of an addiction - there is so much that can be seen through a knot hole when you just put your eye to it. lol
Later...........
A Tweet I received, you might be interested.

I'm not a cat person, but am, however, an animal person...this is such a good cat picture...they are hard subjects to shoot at times.
ReplyDeleteAnd, by the way Px, that is a phenomenal idea! I would try to get a piece of the financial pie though px!, that is going to be a BIG seller! :)

CASEY, WHAT A PRETTY CAT. A PERFECT PICTURE AND I AGREE I THINK HE JUST WANTED TO BE ON YOUR BLOG. I THINK WORDS GETTING OUT THAT YOU HAVE YOUR OWN GROUPIES. I KINDA LIKE IT BEING A SMALL GROUP.
ReplyDeleteWE JUST GOT THROUGH EATING. SWISS STEAK AND BOY WAS IT GOOD. GRAMPS WENT DOWN TO THE OTHER HOUSE AND CLEANED THE REFRIGERATOR.I WORRY ABOUT HIM.TO HOT AND STILL THINGS NEED TO BE DONE. SO THE HOT DINNER BEING THERE FOR HIM WHEN HE WALKED IN THE DOOR ALWAYS PUT A SMILE ON HIS FACE. HE ALSO PAINTED THE SHED DOOR. IT STILL NEED ANOTHER COAT OF PAINT. IT WOULD BE CHEAPER TO BUY A NEW DOOR. CAN'T WAIT ANNIE. BRING IT ON.

If that were my cat in the window, he'd be thinking..."I'm bored to tears by all these well-dressed townsfolk. I wonder who that interesting man with the camera is, the one with the bohemian air?"
ReplyDeleteOf course, if a bird flew by right then, he wouldn't care if you were a bag of Friskies.
Annie: I'm intrigues also. I like your initial "through the knot hole" photos.
ReplyDeleteMarius: if a bird was flying by it would have dropped something on me, i'm sure! the seem to think the paint spots are earlier birds. I've even been the target of birds while riding my bike, a moving target!
I've got to wrap up a book tonight, so I won't be back on the blog 'till after 1-2am probably. G'Night!
GOOD NIGHT MR. CASEY.

When I saw that photo, it reminded me of the cats that would frequently come by for food. Now that it had kittens, I'm spending my time assembling a little home for them out of wood so that they have shelter in the winter. This experience has made me appreciate these little critters since I've always been a dog person.
ReplyDeleteYou're a good man, Woody! I'm not an animal person, but I could never stand by if one ever needed shelter. outdoors, lol. I have quite a few Chipmunks that live around the yard, and they don't mind humans once they get used to you. I've been trying to get a photo of them.
ReplyDeleteI would image that it's difficult to take snaps of them since they're always on the move. The cats outside just love to pose in front of the camera, Maybe set up a bread crumb trail so that they can follow your lead.
ReplyDeleteJust a tip.
