Woke up to this slight frosting of snow the other morning. It was gone by noon. Seasons come and go here from my perch at Pink Gardens.
One of my Christmas cactus blooms in front of a ceramic beer stein, a bowling trophy of my Dad's from the year I was born.
My angelwing begonia is going strong, 12 years old now. In the winter the flowers open to a pretty salmon pink as above. In the summer when it's outside it's almost dark red.
This purple tradescanthia is spending the winter rooting in water. Was surprised to see it blooming the other day in this northern-facing kitchen window.
My geraniums are doing very well this winter in the attic. The plants are losing leaves and getting "leggy" stalks but they'll be fine. In the spring they're cut back and replanted in the containers around the property.
Those of us that appreciate your works, like I do, would probably be very interested in an update regarding your current situation and the prospects, if any, of new photoshopped cars in the foreseeable future. I hope things are looking up for you.
ReplyDeleteThis is a great time of year to reflect on the positive things in our lives. Happy holidays.

JUST CHECKING IN FOR A MINUTE. GRAMPS HAS BEEN SICK BUT DOING MUCH BETTER AFTER HAVING HIS GALL BLADDER OUT. SCARY FOR THE FIRST DAY BECAUSE HIS HEART ACTED UP. MY CHRISTMAS CACTUS IS FINALLY PUTTING ON SOME BUDS. I DIDN'T THINK IT WAS GOING TO FLOWER THIS YEAR. MY DAUGHTER SAID I NEEED TO PUT IT OUTSIDE IN THE SUMMER BUT IT IS GROWING SO WELL BY THE SLIDING GLASS DOOR LOOKING OUT TO THE EAST. I THOUGHT I'D JUST BETTER LEAVE IT ALONE. IF THE BUDS OPEN AND I GET SOME PRETTY FLOWERS I'LL BE HAPPY. MY DAD SMOKED PRINCE ALBERT IN THE CAN. MEMORIES. I MISS HIM SO MUCH. DIED BACK IN 60.THE LAST THING I SAID TO HIM WAS I'LL SEE YOU LATER. I WISH I'D GIVEN HIM A KISS AND HUG. GRANNY
