Chippy #1 or #2, I can't tell which is which, lol. We have several groups of these little striped creatures living around the yard. There's the Woodpile family, the East Porch family, the South Porch family, and this little one and his brother that live below that huge granite slab that is June's front step. They scurry in and out of the cracks betwee the slabs, and they love it when the plants on the step are watered and the water splashes down in between the stones, lapping it up. June sits out there quite often communing with them and feeding them, and while they're not exactly lap pets, they're not as scared of us as the others are. They're really adorable to watch as they play together, running from one bush to another, jumping over each other, disappearing down one of their holes and popping up another one. They stand up like Prairie Dogs also, sniffing and staring at us. I startled one in the Zinnias one day, and as he ran away from me looking for one of his many "entrances" in the ground, he turned around to see if I was following him and ran right into the granite slab. It was precious, lol!
