Technical Issue-No Password Necessary!

Hi Folks. Every once in a while when I access the blog I get a "certification from Elite-Tek" required. I have no idea what that is. "Elite Tek" is a site a friend in Australia runs, but I haven't been able to get in touch to see if it's a virus or what not. I just click "cancel" and the thing goes away so you can view the site. You do not need a password to view Casey/Artandcolour. I've heard from a few friends that's the case with them, too. I'm sorry for any difficulties this has caused. Will try to get to the bottom of it!

Argghhhhh! Technical Glitches up the Wazoo!

My Comcast internet/phone/TV have been off for almost 5 hours. My phone had a dial tone but I couldn't dial out. My high-speed modem was all lit up like the proverbial Christmas tree and it still wouldn't work. I wired and rewired everything. I turned everything off and shut the power strip off for 10 minutes. I cleared the cache, I deleted the history, I filed all my extraneous files onto a spare hard drive. ARGGGHH. Then at precisely midnight, the TV came on, went off, came on, went off, and now everything is working again. It had to be Comcast resetting or doing maintenance or SOMETHING, but I with they would let their customers know!!! I really should get a cell phone so when my Comcast bundle has problems, I can still call them to report it. But my landline only rings once or twice a week, and I call out less than that, so I really can't justify the expense of a cell phone, lol.

Oh well. I'll be over it all by morning and will try to rewrite the post I was in the middle of when everything went off. Have a good night everyone, if you're still awake that is. I'm grabbing a Sam Adams and calm down!

New Feature (Well, an Easier to Find Feature!)

I've created a new link on the right of the blog page titled, "My Photoshopped Cars (Chops)," just below my short bio-profile. It's basically a link to the Chops link in the Labels list, but with the new title and placement, I think it might be easier to find for my viewers/friends that come here to see my cars/chops. Perhaps at some point in the future, I'll create a second blog just for my cars, but for now, I think the new placement will be a boon to some readers. If you're interested in a certain make/model, you can still scroll down the Labels column and find the links there.

Music Post Links to be Fixed

I "shelved" the Disco post until I can work out the kinks in some of the links. Kinky Links, who knew? I think it was the comma in them, breaking them into two pieces, but I'll figure it out. Sorry 'bout that!

Arggghhhh. Comments &^@$%#$& Up.

Hi everybody. The 'Comments' feature at Blogspot, or at least at MY blogspot address seem to be messed up whether I have 'moderate comments' turned on or not. I get your comments in my email box, so I can read them, but I can't seem to get them to show up on the posts. I'll keep working on them. I have to get a book out today though, so I might not be able to devote any time to it until tonight. You can definitely keep commenting, I see them, and then I'll post 'em under my own name if I have to and credit the appropriate person. Arggghhhhhh! Thank you for your comments though, that was sort of the whole point of starting this blog!

U P D A T E :  I just heard from my friend Ish who also blogs through Blogspot, telling me it's blogger-wide, that he is having trouble with comments as is a friend of his in Australia. Hallejulah! Even though I said I'd wait until tonight to 'figure it out' I hadn't stopped yet and I really need to do some work today. Now I can rest for the day. I'll check in later.  THANKS A MILLION, ISH!

Labeling Project Finally Finished

S I T E   T E C H N I C A L I T I E S — I've just completed labeling each and every post in the blog, dating back to the first post in late February. Labels, the small words/links listed at the end of each post, make it much easier to find older posts. If you're interested in seeing all of my fake cars, you can click on "Chops" and every post of my cars will appear for you to peruse. If you're only interested in my Lincoln chops, you can click on "Lincoln," and those will come to the fore. The same goes for my flower photos, you'll find "My garden" listed and all of my garden posts will appear. If you're looking for the art I create on wood, click on "My art."I didn't realize the importance of Labels when I started this blog, and I apologize for the lack of ease in finding relevant posts here until now. I have plenty more to learn as well. I'll be refining the Label feature—I think I have too many and will consolidate in the future to make it even easier to maneuver around here—and I'll be posting videos in the future. Maybe, lol.

Hacked!

Or was I botted? Earlier tonight, apparently, my mac and my Yahoo Contact List was grabbed, and a mass emailing was sent out using my addy. I think it was a link for Viagra, lol. It was NOT from me! I deleted my contacts, changed my password and contacted Yahoo. Never had this happen to me in just about 20 years of Yahoo email! And now I'm pissed because it just hit me that I deleted all my contacts!!! This is going to be a beeyotch.

Monday Glitch

There seems to be some sort of glitch in Blogspot's server right now,  my jpgs aren't showing up. I apologize to everyone. Hopefully they'll take care of the problem asap. I'll put up Monday's entry when the glitch is fixed.  Thank you for your patience, lol!
