Early Spring, Late Christmas. (Cactus, That Is)

It might not have been much of a winter, and it may have been almost 70° today, but inside, it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas, lol. One of my Christmas cactuses is still blooming, the bright pink one. Besides my huge cactus which is now more than 90 years old, I've got three small plants and I'm going to combine those three in one container soon. That is if they ever stop flowering!

  1. Awesome! I am hoping my old Cmas cactus will bloom next year. I told her the other day it would be great if she would bloom for Easter this year, BUT at the very least, it would be ok to bloom from Thanksgiving thru Christmas this coming year. We'll see if she listens.

  4. Casey,

How are your vegetables doing? I had squash ravioli last night and thought that you might want to add it to your cookbook.

  5. Oh, I haven't started any veggies in the garden yet, but by the end of May they should be planted. June has put in some early lettuce and radishes on her side. Squash ravioli sounds delicious! I've been practicing making homemade pasta lately. I found my ravioli form but haven't made any yet. Maybe I'll try a squash filling.
