Wind Chimes

Pink Gardens' wind chimes were making such a beautiful "racket" the other day that I wanted to capture their aural essence visually. They sounded hollow, but harmonious, tone-full and soulful, balanced and beautiful.

Happy Mother's Day!

This is a perfume "decanter" from the 1920s in the shape of a crescent moon. The stopper is sanded glass for a tight fit.

  1. Beautiful! Love the antique bottle! I used to collect moon and stars things. I wonder when I stopped? It wasn't a conscious decision...

I love wind chimes! I usually get Woodstock chimes as they are tuned. We have tons of them here. I wonder if the neighbors hate us? LOL When my mom died in February, I even brought her sweetest wind chime home with me and it's hanging just outside the sunporch.

Happy Mother's Day to our moms in Heaven, huh, Casey?

    Thanks for another beautiful post!

    1. yes, here's to our moms on mother's day wherever their spirits may be! I have great memories of doing things for my mom on this day, all the way back to childhood. My dad made a big thing out of Mother's Day for her. Have a great day, I'm going out for a walk right now.

  2. I THINK OF YOU EVERYDAY. JUST HAVEN'T FELT GOOD. LOVE YOUR CHIMES. I LOVE THEM DURING THE DAY BUT NOT AT NIGHT. I'M A LIGHT SLEEPER AND THEY ALWAY KEPT ME AWAKE. I HAD TO TAKE MY DOWN IN MY OTHER PLACE. DARN.

BUT THANKS FOR SHARING. I CAN ALMOST HEAR THEM AND THEY SOUND LOVELY.
