Diamond-dusted Violets

Happy Winter Solstice!

    CASEY, I DON'T KNOW WHY BUT I GOT BEAUTIFUL PRAISE BUMPS WHEN I LOOKED AT THIS PICTURE. JUST PERFECT. GRAMPS TOOK MY BEST FRIEND TO THE HOSPITAL YESTERDAY. SHE'S WHERE SHE SHOULD HAVE BEEN FOR WEEKS. THE NEXT FEW DAYS WILL BE INTERESTING.I WISH I HAD THIS PLANT TO TAKE TO HER. SHE'S 87. PURPLE IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE COLORS. THANKS FOR FLOWER.     Granny, hope your friend does well in the hospital...bless Gramps for taking her there...he is a jewel.
    X, have you moved a long distance or just a different home within the area. Hope you are enjoying your new place.

    Mare - it's a new home on the other side of Detroit - better in every way. I am enjoying personalizing it - my best Christmas present ever. Hope your Christmas is good as mine this year. Actually, I extend that wish to everybody !

    PX huge congratulations on your new home! And Merry Christmas!

    You could check at a local nursery or even Home Depot or Lowes for African Violets. They all have pretty healthy ones as a rule. Less expensive than a florist (so you can buy more! Hee hee)

    I envy you being able to start with a fresh palette and put your own stamp on your new home. What fun! And to top it off with a piece of Casey's art. You are, indeed, a lucky man this holiday season! :)
