Postis Interruptis

Zinnias from two-weeks ago. I have yet to see how they're doing: just came home this minute, and wanted to touch base with everyone.

Hello faithful blogpeeps,

I've been in the hospital for the past 8-9 days, unexpectedly. I'm home now, and will take a few days to get stronger, but I'll be regularly posting again as soon as I can. My apologies to all of you that have emailed me and haven't had any replies during this time. I was unable to access the Internet.

See you all soon, back at casey/artandcolour!

-Casey

  3. thanks Ish, and Annie, and to everyone, for your emails and comments in the threads. I'm still a bit "woozy" and realize the monitor is making me a bit dizzy. It will probably be a slow comeback for the blog. and me.

  5. Hi Casey - glad you're doing better. You're one of a very small number of blogs that I read daily, and if one of them seems to have a disruption in their posting patterns, I always kind of wonder if "something's wrong."

    Glad to know you're ok!

  9. I second (or third) the other sentiments. I'm glad you're home in your own space. A few years ago I spent five weeks in Lenox Hill Hospital and all I could think of was going home!

I know we all look forward to having you back on your regular schedule!

  21. Whenever you're ready to post, do it. Until then, concentrate on you. You were so supportive when Glynette was sick that I want you to know that we are out here for you, if you need us.

BTW, the '33 Continental Flyer you scouted out for me just won "Best Unrestored Car" at the Krasl Concours and second place in the Hagerty Youth Judging at the Concours at St. John's, formerly Meadow Brook.

    Thanks for all your help!

  22. Thanks, Barry and Gi. Your '33 is the most spectacular original car I've ever seen of that vintage. Congratulations on the much-deserved awards!

  23. Casey, not only is it a survivor it was in terrific mechanical shape. So much so that I was able to drive it 200 miles across Michigan to go to the show. We trailered it back. That was a big step for me as I hadn't been able to bring myself to tow anything since I crunched the shiny trailer and the '55 Porsche 5 years ago.

I got back on the horse and it all worked out well. Rest up and get back on your horse.

  24. I remember the post you did on Barry's car. So Barry and I are kindred spirits with our "crunched" Porsche's - ouch!

  25. Yes, but you were probably driving yours at the time.
