Here you go then:"Spring, the sweet spring, is the year's pleasant king; Then blooms each thing, then maids dance in a ring,Cold doth not sting, the pretty birds do sing." ~ Thomas NasheHappy Valentine's Day ;)
I'm finally seeing the grass after several nasty snowstorms, the light is at the end of the tunnel.
Oh, dear Spring! I saw a flock of Canada geese coming back last week. The first sign of Spring here! Today it's 59 out and I have the window here in the office thrown open. Ahhhh, yes! (It will be 37 tomorrow though.) The flower photos are reviving. I bought a huge bouquet at the store last week, because Casey inspired me to! I think I'll do it again this week!Lovely, Casey!Happy Valentine's Day everyone! And if you're single, Happy YOU Day! Celebrate loving yourself!Katie
SPRING IS IN THE AIR.KATIE HAS HER WINDOW OPEN. FREAH AIR YUM.GRANNY
I actually walked to town today without my gloves on! But tomorrow is supposed to be below freezing again, and I still have a foot of snow and ice in the yard.
Casey,A lot of our snow melted yesterday. Now we just have it around the edges of the property and the leftover plow rows. It is supposed to get to about 40 today so more would be melted, but it's almost 10 am and it's only 28. Not real promising. The sun is out, though, and that's a welcome sight!I got a bouquet of pink and white tulips for Valentine's Day, with yellow Yarrow as an accent. If I were a good photog, I'd send you all a photo. Alas, I don't have Casey's skill with a camera. LOLKatie
that sounds pretty, Kaite. I love yellow yarrow, but for some reason it's never very hardy in my yard. Some people get large masses of it year after year, but I find I have to plant new ones every year if I want it. It's so windy today, I doubt the temps will be much above freezing if that.
KATIE, DON'T EAT YELLOW SNOW UNLESS IT'S BUTTER.SNOW ALL MELTED IN FLORIDA.76 BY THE END OF THE WEEK.GRANNY
