The Banker's Hotrod used to be a synonym for cars like the Buick Century of the Thirties and the Chrysler 300 of the Fifties. It could just as well describe this rear-wheel drive Lincoln sports coupe.
C H O P — One of my "oldies but goodies," this Lincoln Capri SV8 Coupe would be a Mustang-based luxury sports coupe. I like the aggressiveness and quiet luxury of this Lincoln, with its painted version of the Zephyr grille. I think it sets off the Lincoln star logo quite well. I suppose I should attempt a new one with Lincoln's signature split grille one of these days.
The interior would have four Recaro buckets in Nappa leather, with tasteful wood and aluminum trim pieces. Perhaps this is the model that could bring back the pillarless notchback bodystyle to the Mustang platform. Before it was a european sports coupe, and before it was a Mercury version of the Mustang. Capri was a trim level for Lincoln. I like using actual historical names for my non-actual fake cars, lol.
