I'm going to keep my typing to a minimum, but will continue putting up photos for a day or two until the swelling in my fingers/hand goes down. Here is a Camry Coupe I made a while ago. Besides the coupe part, I made the front fascia more aggressive, enlarging the Toyota's grille and adding more dramatic headlights that sharply veer down following the contour of the grille.

Definitely adds some much needed pizzazz to an otherwise very vanilla car. The coupe roofline works BETTER than the original to.
ReplyDeletePlease forward any Toyota chops to them directly, they need all the help they can get !
Once again, you had put the icing on the cake and addressed the weaker styling issues that has haunted this model of late.
ReplyDeleteLuxury shouldn't be a sacrifice, and I love the L pillar or whatever it may be called for the inviting views of the outside/inside areas window area. The E Coupe by Mercedes delivers a nice job of providing a similar effect, but that's for the millionaires to enjoy.
Speaking of Toyota, The Inst. of Highway Safety said Toyota's unintended acceleration was caused by
the driver and maybe the mats too, not mechanical.
The company is still left with a tarnished reputation despite everything else.
Good morning Casey, that was an early post! Hope your hand didn't keep you up allllll night! I was just stopping by to tell you I hope you are feeling better..was shocked to see a post!
ReplyDeleteWhat a trooper!!!!! I know we all appreciate it..

mare
GOOD MORNING LATE THIS MORNING AND YES I'M LOOKING AT YOU.
ReplyDeleteGRANNY
i woke up early with throbbing pain so I iced my hand for a while, did this quick post and went back to sleep. my fingers look like plumped sausages, more red than black and blue, and numbish. I don't think they're broken, just badly dislocated or sprained. i had to' pop them back into place after the accident. they were at 90 degree angle from where they should be!
ReplyDeletethat's it for today! i'm making coffee right now. then more icing I guess.
later!
Have you had an x-ray, Casey? I hope they're not broken.
ReplyDeleteTake care.
I GUESS A HELMET WOULDN'T PROTECT THOSE FINGERS. I REALLY FEEL BAD FOR YOU CASEY. I HOPE YOU HAVE SOMEONE TO GET YOUR MEALS. REST, THAT'S THE BEST THING YOU CAN DO. MAYBE YOU NEED TO GO FOR X RAYS JUST TO BE SURE.
ReplyDeleteGRANNY
no doctor or Xrays yet. maybe tomorrow if it doesn't seem better, i'm one of those 50 million Americans without insurance, so i'm going to tough it out unless it gets any worse. i'll be fine!
ReplyDeleteGranny-i'm still eating tomato sandwiches so I don't need any help, lol! someone gave me fresh corn on the cob from their garden so that will be easy to cook too. i'll hold it with my 'claw' and open it with my left hand, hahaha.
CASEY, I COULD EAT TOMATO SANDWICHES 24/7. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THEM. TRY SOAKING YOUR HAND IN EPHSOM SALT. YOU BUY IT AT THE DRUGSTORE. IT WILL HELP.
ReplyDeleteGRANNY
thank you Granny. I'll try that. There's a CVS right nearby.
