Click on the image to see this busy little bee a bit closer, enjoying the sweet pollen of this pink Zinnia. He flitted around to each and every Zinnia in the cutting garden. I moved on after this first flower, trying to snap a pic of a Tiger Swallowtail that was also enjoying the yard. I have a photograph of a Swallotail I took a couple of years ago, but it's not really in focus. I really want a better shot of one. Better luck next time I guess. I know, though, it's exactly the right time of the season for those majestic pale yellow butterflies.
