  1. That is cool...But all I can really think about is that something dated in 1977 is already 33 years old YIKES!!!!!

  3. I know! I can't believe I graduated from high school 35 years ago and that college was more than 30 years ago! That's just plain old!

  4. I remember when I was a kid I'd wish the time away. I couldn't wait for it to be 3:00 PM so I could get out of school, I couldn't wait till I was 16 to get my Learners' Permit - then it was 18 and then 21...now I want to put on the brakes.
I wish I hadn't wished away so much time. Fire up the Wayback Machine, Sherman!

Anyway, I got a new camera and I have to figure out how to take pictures of the work I've done. I have a pastel of a purple iris that I'd like to photograph. I want it to come out as nice as your drawing, Casey, but it's going to be a while before I get there.

BTW, those flowers look a lot fresher at 33 than I did.

  5. Marius: it's really difficult to photograph artwork! If at ala possible, if small pieces like this one fit on the scanner, that's the preferred way. All of my larger pieces I photograph outside, not in direct sunlight of course, but I never seem to pick up the details, which are the interesting parts of my pieces. I'm sure you'll figure it out with your new camera! I might have to splurge and get a new camera soon. Next time I sell a piece I think i'll get a new camera!
