C H O P — This is one of my recent favorites, VW's New Small Hybrid. VW is so glacial to change it's design themes, that I decided to start with a French car as a base, the new Citroen C5. I think the fender shapes, now with the VW logo prominently displayed at the front, are evocative of the Beetle's bulbous fenders, a cool look to reprise here. The tapering headlights would be brand new to VW, as would the airy 6-light cabin, but I really think this car would make a very cool Prius competitor. I named it in homage to VW's recent prototype names, New Midsize Sedan, New Compact, etc.
