Yes, folks. The dahlia that has been nicknamed "Fraternal Twins" for its two totally different flowers. has thrown off a third flower, and it's yet another variant of the two colors! Instead of being pink and white all over, like the bloom on the left, or solid magenta like the flower on the right, "Goldilocks" in the middle has deep magenta petals on the outside with a lighter pink/white center section. I can't wait for this flower to open fully to see the exact pattern of colors. Remember, all three of these stalks and flowers belong to one plant, grown from one corm.
